Books, reading position, notes, highlights, statistics and settings stay on your device. Meskatech runs no server that FolioLuce sends your data to, and there are no Meskatech accounts.
If you turn it on, some information (for example the list of catalogs and your reading position) travels through iCloud, that is Apple's infrastructure, with your Apple account. Meskatech cannot see it.
OPDS catalogs, Calibre-Web servers, KOSync and Hardcover are contacted only if you set them up, and receive what that service needs. Their own privacy rules apply.
Dictionaries are downloaded only when you ask, over HTTPS. If you pick Wikipedia or Translate from the selection menu, the app opens the site (Wikipedia or Google Translate) with only the selected word or text, the source language and the target language. Book title, file path and reading history are not sent.
If you turn it on in Settings, the app sends crash and hang reports to Sentry, with the app and system version. Personal data, screenshots, file paths and error message text are excluded.
No advertising, no usage analytics and no third-party tracking.
